The Blue Mountain Communi­
ty College Board of Directors will
have two position openings as of
June 30. Directors’ terms which
will expire are position #3, cur­
rently held by Joe B. Green, and
position #4, currently held by
Thomas N. Able.
Board members have always
played an intergral part in the
operation o f the college.
However, as changes in educa­
tional roles and funding become
more apparent, the importance of
strong leadership and educational
interest of board representatives
has been magnified, said a
BMCC spokesperson.
During the next year, in addi­
tion to the regular board and
budget meetings, the Blue Moun­
tain Community College Board
will be involved in a review and
possible revision of the college
mission statem ent, a cost
management study, and a study
to explore the potential for addi-
