A scarecrow contest will be held
again this year using the Fair theme
‘Catch the Pioneer Sprint". Rules for
the contest can be found in the
premium book on page 90. Classes
will be youth, children up to 18;
adults, 18-65 and Senior Citizens, 65
and over. It is suggested that
scarecrows be self supporting either
full standing or sitting. They may be
made of any material or look like
any character, person or thing. Ladd
Farms of Ione will present prizes for
first, second and third winners and
sweepstakes awards.
