Crazy Cookers

The Crazy Cookers first and se­
cond year members met Tuesday
February 5, at the high school home
ec room. Members cooked waffles,
scrambled eggs, impossible pie and
blueberry and strawberry sauce. Ten
members were there to enjoy the
food. The leader, Nancy Miller ex­
plained a little more about recycling.

percent in the eye research pro­
gram.’’ Lexington Oddfellow lodge
met at the same time. The main
business was roofing the Oddfellow
building. Estimates are being con­
sidered and a money-making project
to help with the project is being
considered.

joyed. The next meeting will be Feb.

BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
Notice is hereby given that on
March 1, 1991, the Board of
Equalization of the County of Mor­
row, Oregon, will meet at the Coun­
ty Courthouse in Heppner, Oregon,
to:
Publicly examine the assessment
rolls for said county.
Publicly examine the certified
ratio study for said county for the
year 1990-91.
Petitions to excuse the liability for
late filing penalties must be filed
with the board no later than May 3 1,
1991.
The assessed valuation of all pro­
perties assessed by the county
assessor’s office in Morrow Coun­
ty, as entered on the assessment roll
for January 1, 1991, is 100 percent
of the true cash (market) value of
such property.
It shall be the duty of the persons
interested to appear at the time and
place appointed. Petitions for adjust­
ment of value must be filed with the
board not later than May 31, 1991
except when the filing of the petition
at a different time is permitted under
ORS 309.035, 309.090 or 309.103.
