NOTICE ia hereby given pursuant to ORS 311.615 of the service of
Personal Property Tax warrants upon the following listed tax payers.
Payment of the following listed delinquent taxes with interest and
cost of service must be made by January 9, 1991 or said warrants
shall be filed with the County Clerk of Morrow County, Oregon, for
entry in the County Clerk Lien Record, and shall became a lien upon
the title to any interest in real property owned by the person
against whom the warrant is issued,and the taxes on personal
property embraced in the warrant with interest, penalties and costs
applicable thereto, shall continue as a lien on all the personal
property of the person assessed as otherwise provided by law. The
effect shall be the same as though the people of the county had
recovered the judgement against the person charged for the full
amount of the delinquent tax covered by the warrant together with
interest thereon and cost as provided by law.

met and viewed the beginning of the
"Fight for Your Life” tape by Dr.
Bernic Siegel. Those attending also
took time to share their "journeys”
with each other, according to
organizer Merilee McDowell. "Our
meeting has been a great success,”
she said.
A meeting is planned for Monday.
January 7. at 7 p.m. at the home of
Roger and Yvonne Conner, 320
Court Street. “ Some people who
have cancer are not able to leave
their homes, so we are trying to
come to them when we can.' ’ added

Disposal Franchise
The City of Heppner, 188 W.
Willow, P.O. Box 756, Heppner,
OR 97836. Sealed bids will be
received for the grant of an exclusive
solid waste disposal franchise until
5:00 p.m., PST. on January 14,
1991 and then publicly open«! and
read aloud. This franchise will con
sist of an exclusive right to collect
and disposal of solid waste from
residences
and
com m ercial
establishments within the boundaries
of the City of Heppner for a period
of ten years.
No bid may be withdrawn after the
time set for bid opening, or after the
award of the contract, unless award
is delayed for period exceeding 60
days. Bidder's instructions and the
City of Heppner Solid Waste

dinance controlling the grant and
operations of the franchise, may be
