NOTICE OF SERVICE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX WARRANTS
NOTICE ia hereby given pursuant to ORS 311.615 of the service of
Personal Property Tax warrants upon the following listed tax payers
Payment of the following listed delinquent taxes with interest and
cost of service must be made by January 9, 1991 or said warrants
shall be filed with the County Cleric of Morrow County, Oregon, for
entry in the County Clerk Lien Record, and shall became a lien upon
the title to any interest in real property owned by the person
against whom the warrant is issued,and the taxes on personal
property embraced in the warrant with interest, penalties and costs
applicable thereto, shall continue as a lien on all the personal
property of the person assessed as otherwise provided by law. The
effect shall be the same as though the people of the county had
recovered the judgement against the person charged for the full
amount of the delinquent tax covered by the warrant together with
interest thereon and cost as provided by law.

lone JV girls start season
with two wins

The lone girls JV team got their
season off on the right foot by win­
ning two games last week. The Lady
Cardinals won a close game over
Heppner on Monday, and cruised
past Condon on Tuesday. Both
games were played on the road.
The Heppner game was close all
the way, with the lead changing
hands several times and neither team
ever getting more than two or four
points ahead. In the crucial fourth
quarter. lone outscored the Fillies
8-2 and pulled out a 21-18 victory.
Kristine Bedortha was high point
for the Cardinals with seven points.
Crystal Minster nabbed seven of the
Card’s 19 steals and Heidi Nelson
and Janie Cupps led the rebounding
attack. Nelson pulled down eight
boards and Cupps grabbed six.
Coach Tom Bedortha commend-
ed Crystal Minster for a good defen­
sive game and Kristine Bedortha for
a good offensive effort.
On Tuesday, the Cards found no
challenge as they steamrolled a
hapless Condon squad, 48-8. Con­
don managed just two points in each
quarter while the Lady Cards had an
18-point first quarter and a 17-point
fourth quarter.
Crystal Minster led the Cardinals
in scoring with 13 points. Amy
Pointer added 12, Janie Cupps had
11 and Kristine Bedortha chipped in
with 10. The Cards tallied 37 re­
bounds with Amy Pointer pulling
down 13. Janie Cupps had seven
steals to lead that department. lone
shot 41 percent from the field, mak­
ing 21 of 5 1. They hit 55 percent of
their free throws, making six of 11.
Coach Bedortha called the game“
a great team effort.”
Rhea Creek study group meets

The Rhea Creek Study Group met
at the Cecil Jones home on Wednes­
day, Dec. 5, for their regular
meeting. The lesson was on ethnic
foods, with a short history of Mex­
ico and its citizens. Mexican wed­
ding cake cookies, tropical fruit
punch. M exican (Ibarra) hot
chocolate drink, chicken in mole
sauce and Christmas Eve salad were
dishes prepared by the hostesses.
They were in addition to delicious
dishes prepared by other members of
the study group

Electric in Hermiston, direcor.
Members of ORECA recently
hired Larry D. Walsh as executive
vice-president o f the O regon
Development Group, which will
work with ORECA to help create
and retain jobs in co-op service
areas. Larry began December 1 and
is working out of the ORECA office
in Salem.
