Heppner Jr. High is starting a new
honor program for those students
who achieve a 3.5 or better. These
students will be issued an “ honor
card’ ’ which will allow them special
recognition by businesses and ser­
vice organizations in the Hepp-
ner/Lexington area. Each individual
business or service organization will
create their own way of recognizing
the honor cards.
"Through this program the school
is hoping to build some positive ties
with the community while providing
our top students with the recognition
they deserve for achieving
academically,” said program coor­
dinator Sarah Carlson. If you are

a business owner and would like to
know more about the program, con­
