Letters to the Editor
Local cancer support group in the works
To the Editor:
It has been brought to my atten
tion that there is a great need in our
community for a cancer support
group. 1 have stepped out in faith and
am working on getting one started.
1 have information from the America
Cancer Society, a VCR and cassette
tapes and a whole lot of hope. Now
I need volunteers to let me know
what cancer patients and family
members need and want and also so
meone to help me get things started.
We already have November 19,
Mon, at 7 p.m. set for our first
meeting and All Saints* Episcopal
Church has donated the use of their
parish hall so we are well on our
way. If you can help in any way
please call me at 676-5238.
