has filed in the circuit court of the state of Oregon for Morrow
County, an application to foreclose the lien of all taxes shown on
the 1990 Morrow County tax foreclosure list above set forth,

that Morrow County,
as plaintiff, will apply to the court for
judgment and decree foreclosing such tax liens not less than thirty
(30) days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
And any and all persons interested in any of the real property
Included in this foreclosure list are required to file answer and

if any there be, to such application for judgment and
decree within thirty (30) days from the date of the first
publication of this notice, which date is August 22, 1990.
Notice of this foreclosure is given under ORS 312.040 (1) and (1)
publication of the foregoing foreclosure list in the Heppner
Gazette Times, a weekly newspaper of general circulation in Morrow
County, Oregon.

BMCC gears up for fall term
The admission, financial aid and
counseling offices are gearing up for
fall term at Blue Mountain Com
munity College. Those offices
returned to regular work August 13.
The hours are 8 a.m. to 5p.m. Mon
day through Friday.
Fall term classes begin Wednes
day, September 26, with registration
held M onday and Tuesday,
September 24 and 25. Students in
terested in enrolling fall term should
contact the counseling center.
For students new to BMCC who
have not attended college elsewhere,
the counseling centers offers place
ment tests. The test is an assessment
of English and mathematical skills to
ensure that students are placed in
classes appropriate to their skill
level. Placement tests are offered at
9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. daily.
Following the test students visit
with a counselor to determine a
choice of majors. Registration ap
pointments are made before the stu
dent leaves campus.
Students returning to BMCC or
students transferring to BMCC from
another college who plan to enroll
this fall are reminded to make their
registration appointments now. Ap-
pointments can be made by calling
the counseling center at 276-1260,
ext. 205 or 1-800-526-5401.
Cycle stories welcome
Over 1700 people with the Cycle
Oregon III bicycle tour will be
traveling through Heppner on Sept.
9 and will be eating dinner and
breakfast here. The Gazette-Times is
planning a special publication to
welcome the bicyclists and as a
souvenir of Cycle III.
Anyone with advertisements or
stories about events, activities, ser
vices, food, booths, etc., must have
them into the G-T by 5 p.m. Friday,
Aug. 24. The special tab-sized
new spaper will be published
Wednesday, Sept. 5.
Tollefson to preach at United
Methodist church Aug. 26
The Rev. Steve Tollefson, who
was the pastor at the Heppner United
Methodist Church from 1976 to
1979, will be returning to his first
church to preach on Sunday, August
26.
Accompanying Steve will be his
wife. Vicky, and three of their four
sons. Ben. Ted and Wes.
It will be a time for old acquain
tances and friendships to be renew
ed, said current pastor Gerry Et-
t hi son. The worship service will
begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be
followed at noon with a no-host
lunch at Kate's Piiza. Everyone who
knew Steve and his family is invited
to attend the service and join in the
lunch time.
