covering the following described real
property:

Both the beneficiary and the
trustee have elected to sell the said
real property to satisfy the obliga
tions secured by said trust deed and
a notice of default has been record
ed pursuant to Oregon Revised
Statutes 86.735(3); the default for
which the foreclosure is made is
grantor’s failure to pay when due the
following sums:
Monthly payments in the sum of
$1,145.00 from May 1, 1989,
together with all costs,
disbursements, and/or fees incurred
or paid by the beneficiary and/or
trustee, their employees, agents or
assigns.
By reason of said default the
beneficiary has declared all sums
owing on the obligation secured by
said trust deed immediately due and
payable, said sum being the follow
ing, to-wit:
$76,942.54, together with interest
thereon at the rate of 10.500% per
annum from May 1, 1989 together
with all costs, disbursements, and/or
fees incurred or paid by the
beneficiary and/or trustee, their
employees, agents or assigns.
WHEREFORE, notice hereby is
given that the undersigned trustee
will on July 25, 1990 at the hour of
10:00 o’clock A M., in accord with
the standard time established by ORS
187.110, at the Morrow County
Courthouse, 100 Court Street in the
City of Heppner, County of Mor
row, State of Oregon, sell at public
auction to the highest bidder for cash
the interest in the said described real
property which the grantor has or
had power to convey at the time of
the execution of said trust deed,
together with any interest which the
grantor or his siicceessors in interest
acquired after the execution of said
trust deed, to satisfy the foregoing
obligations thereby secured and the
costs and expenses of sale, including
a reasonable charge by the trustee.
Notice is further given that any per
son named in ORS 86.753 has the
right, at any time prior to five days
before the date last set for the sale,
to have this foreclosure proceeding
dismissed and the trust deed
reinstated by payment to the
beneficiary of the entire amount due
(other than such portion of the prin
cipal as would not then be due has
no default occurred) and by curing
any other default complained of
herein that is capable of being cured
by tendering the performance re
quired under the obligations or trust
deed, and in addition to paying said
sums or tendering the performance
necessary to cure the default, by pay
ing all costs and expenses actually
incurred in enforcing the obligation
and trust deed, together with
trustee’s and attorney’s fees not ex
ceeding the amounts provided by
said ORS 86.753.

masculine gender includes the
feminine and the neuter, the singular
includes the plural, the word “ gran
tor” includes any successor in in
terest to the grantor as well as any
other person owing an obligation,
the performance of which is secured
by said trust deed, and the words
“ trustee" and “ beneficiary" include
their respective successors in in

The young lone Cardinal baseball
team fell to the Pilot Rock Rockets,
11 -4, in a contest played last Thurs
day. Despite the score, the Cards
saw improved hitting and overall im
proved play.
The Cardinals scored four runs in
the fifth inning. David Wagenblast
got on base with a double, followed
by Justin Miller with a single. Jim
Davison scored M iller and
Wagenblast with a double. Travis
Greenup then scored Davison on a
single. Quincy Penne was responsi
ble for the final mark in the score

down on our errors, we’d be in
every game," says lone coach Craig
Gutierrez.
Gutierrez says that the team im
proves with each game. “ Our hitting
finally showed up. We are hitting
much better,” he says. He states that
the Cards are still hitting to people
rather than into the holes, though.
This is the first lone baseball team
in ten years, making for an inex
perienced squad. Gutierrez says that
the freshmen have Little League ex
perience but the sophomores, juniors
and seniors have never played.
Pirates shut down Tiger Scots

The Riverside Pirates shut down
the Weston-McEwen Tiger Scots in
a no-hitter pitched by Billy Byrd and
reliever Mike Tallman.
The Pirates struck out 15 Tiger
Scot batters and walked only two,
while they came up with 12 of their
own hits.
Matt Andreason lead the Pirates,

going 3-3, at the plate. Byrd had two
hits and two RBI’s. Jason Lipe and
Scott Timms each had two hits,
while the only home run of the game
came in the fifth inning from Ryan
Evans.
Riverside is leading the CBC East
division with a 6-0 league record and
a 10-1 season record.
