These and other big-game proposals are to be decided upon by the Fish
and W ildlifc Commission when the final rules are adopted during a hear
ing at O D FW headquarters on February 10 Input from a series o f public
meetings held throughout the state in late January to discuss 1040 big-game
proposals will also he considered by the commission at that hearing; un­
fortunately. the list of nK*eting sites and dates were not received from the
department in time to allow publication before the meetings
It has been proposed that applications for early controlled hunts must
be cancelled with an official U S Postal Service post mark no later than
