Forest attacked by teens for good reason OSU Extension supports
SWCD with CRP field tour
The Forest was attacked by
teenagers this summer who ac­
complished over IM)0 hours of im
portant tasks Eight youths par
ticipated in the Youth Conservation
Corp program on the Heppner
Ranger District, acquiring skills in
many jobs and gaining know ledge in
learning
about
the
forest
environment
Under the direction of Eddie

students worked five weeks in con­
servation. fish and wildlife, recrea
non. silviculture and fire prevention
