Hymns of thanksgiving to Clod will he sung by the congregation, pravers
of thanksgiving will be offered, a sermon on thankfulness will be preached
by Pastor DeWaync Bey, and an offering will be received designated for
world hunger

ding of literacy The eighth graders
joined the second graders twice as a
group and then in small groups of
two or three for several weeks
Their goal was to design a reading
room out of a large refrigerator box

the box For the next tew weeks,
eighth graders adopted a second
grader and helped the second graders
construct their reading room
Eighth graders enjoyed helping the
second graders Alissa Brownfield
said "the kids were cute " Kevin
Payne stated, "it was tunny reali/
ing that I was once like these kids "
But most agree that the best part of
the activity was missing English
class
