In response to recall petition ot Morrow County School Board Members
We totally understand the need for accountability of school board members represen
ting the citizens of Morrow County Ffowever, we concerned citizens and taxpayers feel
accountability goes both ways When do persons wishing to recall, become accountable
for their actions and the actions of those they support.
We do not believe any side is 100% correct in the actions taken or the methods used
during contract negotiations and the strike by Morrow County teachers But we as a group,
do not understand why the board members are being singled out to be accountable while
others are granted amnesty
Although the negotiation period and strike were difficult situations for all, we feel the
school board as a whole did their best under the given circumstances to represent the
majority of Morrow County
The healing is |ust beginning Let's not disrupt this process by continuing to place blame
