sample a slower pace o f living The
hoys like anneals and would like to
get to know more about them, horses
especially they are learning about
farming and equipment Although
(ierry was raised in the farming
community of Monroe, he is re
learning many things
Ihe family enjoys yard work,
sw miming and the boys like to fish
They espec ially enjoy the freedom ot
being able to go lo the park alone and
the tact that they will he able to rule
their hikes to school Michael will
he in first grade and Mathew in the
sixth

Day at the Oregon 4 H Center near
Salem are now being accepted, ac

Open to all interested in 4 H
members and their families, the
Aug. 26 program will utilize the
center's trails, woods and ponds to
help th«>sc attending learn more
about natural resources as well as
how to enjoy the outdoors, explains
