Patrick's Senior Center Tuesday,
when he announced that 13 tenants
arc livin g in the center
" I t is now pay ing its way, " Kuhn
told the Heppner Chamber o f Com
incrce, "a n d we should have 15 hy
the end o f June "
There had been so uk concern (hat
the housing center was not fillin g up
with tenants fast enough, but Tues
day's announcement should put
those Icars to rest
" I t 's amazing that it filled up in
six m onths." Kuhn said, pointing to
similar projects in other cities which
have not filled up as quickly.

ed with a newly formed housing
authority. which should allow the c i

budgeted fo r $ 3 ,5 0 0 ." Kuhn said
He also pointed out that work on
the hotel project is not completed,
and the community would he called
upon to finish landscaping in the
