The Willow Creek Park District
will he having a public hearing at
Heppner City Hal^ on Thursday,
May 11, M 7 :3 0 p.m. to discuss the
economic benefit* o f an RV Park
The Park District is interested in
public comments regarding the
tourism which Will be generated
from having ihe overnight park
facility at Heppner
Ken Turner, who is heading up the
project, stated that it is ‘ ‘important
to have a lotal effort from the com
munity to nuke the RV Park a reali
t y T u r n e r forsees great benefit* to
the community from dollars spent
and increased business to the area
The Park District is in need of par
ticipation from businesses in the
Willow Creek Valley regarding any
projected increases in employment,
in order for the district to complete
a grant application from the Oregon
Community Development Block

rem ission and visits St. Jude
Hospital for routine check-ups.
Brian is a li\ ing example o f the pro
gress and success o f the research,
patient care, and educational pro
gram s o f this in tern atio n ally
recogm/ed hospital.
