Cecil Jones, a member of the Morrow
County Planning Commission, is retiring after
nine years. Irvin Rauch presented him with
a plaque for the years he served Attending
the presentation was Louis Carlson, Irvin
Rauch, Dean Seeger and Jerry Peck
Rauch jokingly noted that taking into con
sideration the usual three-hour meetings and
one hour of travel to the meetings, after nine

The Morrow County Gram Growers will be holding their an
nual customer appreciation day this Saturday from 8a m to
12 noon at the head office in Lexington
The day starts off with a free pancake breakfast, followed
by many displays from factory representatives and special
events by the Oregon Cattlewomen, and the FFA
You can also enter to win door prizes which include rollaway
tool chest. Century 15/200 amp charger, laundry soap, drill
insulated boots and coveralls, clothing, toy riding tractor, and
other toys
