Rod and Meg Murray were honored as business people of
the year at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon Tuesday
Pointing out their contribution to the community through run
ning a successful drug store for 30 years in Heppner. awards
chairman Wallace Wolff said the Murrays were a great asset
to the community Meg was also recognized for her work on
starting the hotel renovation project on Mam Street.
The Murrays started their business career in Heppner 30
years ago when they purchased Humphrey's Drug Store
