and alcohol abuse, talented and
gifted programs and she recently
traveled to St Louis University to
do a communication workshop She
is on the Board o f Directors for the
SAIC organization which is a non
p ro fit organization that sponsors
communication workshops through
Oregon State University
M rt Fedenckton has a lto been
involved in the Student Senate pro
gram for about fourteen years She
had coached track for the past eight
years, but w ill be unable to do so this
year w ith her new title at principal

high schools in the area

Students were separated into “ Job
A lik e " groups depending on their
office The students had to come up
w ith job descriptions o f their posi
tions and discussed whai and how
important they were
Students were divided randomly
into the groups in which they would
remain throughout the camp The
groups each had to make up their
own team name and a poster
representing leadership qualities
The groups practiced strategic plan
ning as they prepared skits and
discussed stress management
