Heppner Municipal Swimming h>ol w ill have a public swim
on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 3:00 p m . ,
September I through September 22. I*>HH Adm ission - .50
per person.
An advanced lifesaving course w ill be offered. Re
quirements are
Must be 15 years old or older
Must lx- able to swim 500 yards continuously.
Must be able to perform a pike, tuck and feet First
surface dive
Must be able to tread water one minute.
Must be able to perform a standing front dive and
swim 20 feet under water
I Ins is a 20 hour course. Classes w ill be held from h to
x p in on September 1.6.7X12.13.14.and 19 Two Saturday or
Sunday classes to be determined by group Test w ill be held
on Sept 20 Lim ited to 15 persons
