their combined total of fifteen grand
children and twenty five great
grandchildren to celebrate Helen
also had one great great grandchild
present
"W e were bom in an apple or
chard in Randolph. Iowa," grinned
Ellen
"Actually, there was a house in
that orchard." said Hellen. setting
the record straight
The twins do not claim to have
been angels “ We drew faces on the
blackboard in school and threw spit
balls at it," said Ellen
"Actually, we threw spit balls at
the teacher." admitted Helen
They both agreed they were
mischievious as children

Lunch Program Each school and the
District Office has a copy of the
policy, which may be reviewed by
any interested party.

income is at or below the levels
shown arc eligible for free or
reduced priced meals
Application forms arc being sent
to all homes w ith a letter to parents
or guardians To apply for free or
reduced price meals, households
should fill out the application and
return it to the school Additional
copies arc available at the principal's
office in each school The informa
tion provided on the application will
be used for the purpose of determin
ing eligibility and may be verified at
any time during the school year by
school or other program officials.

At eighty eight, traveling is an ex
citing part of their lives "I (lew out
here from Nebraska and I'm flying
home." said Helen “ I love it."
Although, the unidentical twins
are also unidentical in their per
sonalities and tastes, they both en
joy crocheting and knitting "At
least I did in the past." said Helen
" I'm not able to do that kind of work
now I don't see as well as I did."
Helen became Mrs Glen Carter in
1911 Ellen and Floyd Reeder tied
the knot in 1921
Ellen moved to Imgon from
