Ione UCC Bible School is June 13-17
lone United Church of Christ will
be holding it* annual Vacation
Church School during the week of
June 13-17 Classes will be ottered
daily from 9 a m. to II 30 a m tor
children and youth from 2 year* to
junior high age The theme for the
week will be "Jesus Christ Giver
of Peace" The weeks activities w ill
include crafts, stories, snacks,
songs, and games
A daily ottering will be taken for
Heifer Project International, an
organization which prov ides animal*
for needy tamilics in third world
countries in an attempt to provide
some measure of self-sufficiency, in
addition to nutrition This year, the
children will be working to purchase
a goat.
Registration will begin at 8 30
a in on Monday, June 13. The
church is requesting a SI donation to
defray the costs of supplies
The children will be concluding
the week with a program for family
and friends at II a m on Fnday, June
17 All arc welcome to attend
