The Pirates answered the
touchdown with one of their own on
a 39-yard run.
The two minute warning had just
sounded when the C ardinals
recovered a fumble on their own 40
yard line
The Cardinals marched down the
field with key running by Padherg
and Senior fullback Ken Snider.
It was Hall once again who scored
the touchdown on a 4-yard blast with
under a minute left to play
In the end o f the deficit was just
loo much to overcome ami the ( ’aids
fell one touchdown short The final
score in the game was 34-26
