pleted the Valhy Road, and Rai
tlesnakc Canyon seal coaling and has
been concentrating forces on the Big
Butter Creek Road project I-ast
week six miles of the worn out
asphalt has been ripped and
rcpmecssed and a three inch lift ol
gravel laid.
Also several portions o f Baseline
K*«ad were patched, along with Jor
dan Grade and Sand Hollow The
small bridge structure that was
replaced near Pine C ity has settled
and been patched with asphalt mix

The Road IX ’partment has pur
chased 7.0(8) cubic yards o f crush
cd rock at Arbucklc Corral for
gravel road maintenance this tall
Several road crewmen were involv
ed in transporting this r\xk to a local
stockpile Upper Little Butter Creek
and the North fo rk roads will
receive nmsi ol this rock Ijte r this
year
On the North I ml the crew has
been continuing their work on
ilson Road, but have turned their
attention lately onto roadside brush
and grass cutting for many Board
man and Irrigon area roads, prim ari
ly those used on school bus routes
