To benefit senior projects
Bill Cox of Heppner shows boat, motor and trailer that will
be raffled off on Friday. July 24 Seniors will also have a food
sale on Mam Street, beginning at 9 a m.
Tickets will be available for purchase up to that time Funds
will be used to benefit senior citizens projects

Festival
The festival, sponsored by the
North Morrow County t'hamher of
Conunerce. will include many dif­
ieren! fish related activities.
Registration for the Walleye bass
fishing tournament will begin Friday
evening and conclude Saturday from
6 to 8 30 a m at the Boardman
Riverfront Park lire tournament
will begin at 9 a m Saturday and
Sunday Weigh ins each day will
stan at 3 p m The awards ceremony
is scheduled for after Sunday's
weigh ins Cost of the tinimament is
SI00 per team (pair) and S75 per
team with a school age participant
Prizes will be awarded in various
categories including Largest Fish.
Total W eight and a Ymith category
keglcr's Sentry is also continuing
its First Annual Walleye Fishing
contest which runs through
September 30 Five dollars per
pound will be awarded lo the largest
fish weighed at the store The second
largest lish will receive $2 SO per
pound
I hree professional fishermen will
conduct a seminar by discussing
various lishing strategies beginning
at 7 30 p m Saturday
Mike Smith. Seattle, one of the
nation's top tournam ent bass
fishermen, will speak on "Locating
and C atching Techniques of the
Small Mouth Bass in a River
Sy stein."
F.d Iman. a professional fisherman
from Gresham, will speak on " The
Habits of the Columbia River
Walleye"
