the tourth quarter last Saturdav after
noon to win its second straight game
with a 3 2 -3 1 squeaker over the Stan
field Tigers The Fillies improved to
2-2 with the win
After leading 13 I after the first
quarter. Hcppncr was outscorcd
2(W in the second period to fall
behind 21-17 at halftime before pull
ing the game out in the fourth
quarter
The Fillies lumped out to a quick
13 -1 lead after the first period as the
T igers were I o f 7 from the free
throw line in the period
H owever the T igers, behind the
varsity "six th n u n ” Lclanda Pope
dom inated the second quarter as
Pope scored all o f her game high 15
points in the quaner
Each team only managed four
points in the third q uan er but it was
enough for Stanfield to still lead
Jennifer C u m n brought the Fillies
