County receives second
health care petition
•X second petition with over 700
signatures concerning lo rnution ot
a health care district or districts was
presented to the Morrow Countv
Court last Wednesday A delegation
of the loosely organized Heppner in
lerc itv group was at the ( ourthouse
before the court meeting began
Jhe intent of the petition is to
show there is a concern for health
care in the South end of the county
as well as in the North end

hoc factfinding committee named by
the Court, said
The |v i it ion suggests formation of
one county wide district rather than
two districts An earlier petition to
the Court with over 7(XI signatures
from North county residents asked
the Court to form two districts Itoth
petitions lacked some of the legal re
quirements tor a petition to the court
I he petitions counterbalance eac h
other. Green said

county want some change in the
