have already shot themselves in the

they nuy he ready to chop it o il
altogether I am referring to the sad
and hitler saga of the school budget
and I fear what the future rtuy hold
No nutter what decisions are nude
in the future they cannot undo all of
the damage already incurred
Teachers and other school personnel
have been denied reasonable work
mg conditions, security and respect
Parents have hern betrayed hy voters
who refuse to "pay to educate

face being denied the quality of
education they need and deserve
The present stale of uncertainty and
gloom m our schools is a shameful
commentary on the priorities o f the
voters in our county
Some have used the depressed
economy as an excuse for voting
down adequate funding for the

some incomes arc shrinking. I have
yet to sec anyone selling o il their
children, the schools continue to
grow Are we w illing to impoverish
our children's luturr m order to save
a lew dollars in the present' lines

can we expect to attract those who
