their supplies and took their places

Bag Contest Using their imagina
lions each created a roast beef sand

paper bag and eaten for lunch
The Morrow County CowBelles
have sponsored the brown hag con
test for five years now and provide
each contestant with a serving por
tion of roast beef, a sandwich bag
and a brown paper bag Each con
testant brings his own utensils, his
imagination, and the ingredients for
his sandwich He may include two
extra items to complete a balanced
lunch
The sandwiches were imaginative
When contestants had finished, each
was asked to tell the judges why his
sandwich was nutritious CowBelles
judged contestants on taste, nutri
lion, appearance and creativity of the
sandwich and on their beef state
ment. and presented all contestants
a blue ribbon because each had done
a good job
The S10 first place award was
given to Nancy Mortar, daughter of
Pcny and Kathy Mortar of lone Her
sandw ich was on sourdough bread
with Swiss cheese, lettuce, and
tomatoes She had a slice of can

4 H Club (earlier Thursday Sophie helped Jeame w in a Grand Champion
ship ribbon for Conformation
Jeame was not certain Friday, but thought she would probably raise Mid
night for sale next year, she doubted he'd become another 4 H project
