New program supports fair
The Morrow Grain Growers in
Lexington has started a program this
year to help with promotion of the
Morrow County Fair and Rodeo,
and save fairgoers money
Starting immediately anyone who
purchases $100 dollars worth of
merchandise at the Grain Growers
will receive a coupon good for $5 off
the price of fair buttons, family fun
night or rodeo admission
The coupons arc not redeemable
for cash and are not given for pur
chase of fertilizer, chemicals,
petroleum products or sale items

pions, the bidding begins
It is a long awaited minute for 4 H
and FFA boys and girls This is
when the training and feeding pnv
gram pays off, says Birdine Tullis of
the Morrow County F.xtension Of
fice This is their time to show the
public their product and accomplish
rnent of a year's work and hope for
a good price as they sell
The annual Market Sale is spon
sored by the local Livestock
Growers Association Morrow
County youth are lucky to have the
support of the growers, no« all coun
ties are so fortunate The growers
association is fully responsible for
the sale, all plans and delivery of the
animals They are assisted by the
First Interstate Bank employees wno
serve as clerks and recorders of the
sales
Buyers may pay for their purchas
ed animals at the vale In fact, the
4 H'crs and FFA members ap
preciate receiving prompt payment
