di's horse Ketchup," she said
Hie princess has been a member
of Wranglers for four years, is a
member of Barrel Club, and 4 H
Horse Club She has competed in
barrel racing and has several ribbons
and trophies from the Wranglers
rewarding her efforts
Although she has not traveled with
previous courts, she has been a Hag
bearer at the Morrow County Rodeo
for several years "I always intend
ed to try out for the court." she said,
"but this is the first year I had a
chance to do it " I'm really looking
forward to being at the Morrow
County Fair and Rodeo each day
from beginning to end. she said
Definitely the best part about he
ing on the court is meeting new peo
pie and going places, she said,
although it requires a lot of riding
and getting horses ready for judging
in a short time
During the Arlington rodeo, "my
horse bucked during the whole grand
entry I just hoped I stayed on," she
said
The busy princess said she is

Rose in Heppner this summer and.
in addition, she takes care of her own
horse, and rides for two hours each

where they stayed at the White Swan
Hotel. which is said to be the nicest
hotel in the world Lunch was their
first meal in Inland China, which
was a real espenence. Hams said
On Thursday and Friday they took
tours of factories in Canton which

ed Miss Teen of Oregon al Pageant
Finals held on Sunday. July 20 She
will receive a $1.000 scholarship, a
host of merchandise awards and an
all espense paid trip to the eight day
