Lexington couple hosts Enterprise reunion

ranch Although this was a northwest

Saturday afternoon lightening hit
a top crossarm on a transmission
structure near the Nelson ranch on
Baseline Road and damaged the
crossarm and insulatoars causing a
one hour 42- minute power outage
over most of this half of the electrical

Basin Electric Co-op reported
Lightening seldom strikes within
the Columbia Basin system, laisgren
continued It's rare that it hits the
power lines, however. Saturday's
storm was unusual with a mixture of
sheet lightening and direct strokes
taking out many of the lightening ar
restors in the system Columbia
Basin crews repaired five individual
outages in addition to the major
outage on Baseline Road
A crew of three replaced the top
crossarm. insulator string, and
damaged insulatoars on an adjacent
pole

include a trophy, camera. TV. and
a trip to Florida for competition at
the national finals
