M orrow County's budget is a good deal, and deserves your yes
vote on the current mail-in ballot
h o llo w in g the M a rc h d efea t, the budget c o m m itte e lopped o ft
alm ost SKX).(NM) ($ 9 9 ,9 6 0 ) and has presented back to you a slim
and trim county budget, that w ill p ro vide us w ith needed services,
and s till not hurt the p ocketb o ok too badly
Taking the knife to expenditures, the county cut over $39.000
from the road fund, over $ 7 .(MM) for purchase of a pickup, new
air conditioning for three road graders is out. SIO.(NM) was cut
from weed spraying, and over SH.(MM) from the north morrow am
bulance levy. The list goes on to total almost S I0 0 .(MM)
In other words the county heard your voice when the budget
was turned down they responded, trimmed down the budget, and
it is time tor voters to respond
Everyone is concerned with the economics o f M orrow County
at this time, and the county budget committee has shown they arc
also.

over 12 years I started out in the
Courthouse, spent 10 years upstairs
in the Sshcxil Administration
building in lexm gton and am now
situated in the 1‘cttyjohn building at
4 Ki Heppncr/Lexington Highway

Walla from 1946 to 1951. at the Fjn
maux Lutheran Church, now the
Trinity Lutheran Church

ministry, but served av an interim

died in 1979
Slreufert was a member of the
Bethlehem Lutheran congregation in
Hermiston since October 1984
