Two delegates and one alternate have been named by the Heppner
American 1-egmn Auxiliary Post No 87 to attend the July 6 12 session of
Girls State at the University of Oregon in Eugene
The delegates are juniors Tabitha Block daughter of l,ee and Dorcas
Block and Stacey Kennedy daughter of tairry and Fllen Kennedy Should
either of the regular delegates be unable to attend the session sophomore
Shannon Mct»ughlin. daughter of Bob and Betty MiT»ughlin. w ill attend
The delegates are selected on the basis of leadership, character and
honesty, cooperativeness, community participation and service, and
scholarship
