According to the Morrow County
District, proposed '86 »7 budget",
which states that In 1985 '86 the total
budget was $8.684.301 and that (or
the same year there were 1,814
students In Morrow County schools
That amounts to $4.784 74 per child
in educational costs The propositi
budget for 86 '87 1» $9,471.688 and if
the enrollment remum* the same the
cowl per student will increase to
$5.218 19 Of this proposed budget
some 73 2 percent of the total budget
will go to salaries and benefit*
Under the present contract a
teacher in Morrow County hired first
year, will begin with a salary of
$14.207 plus full medical benefits.
