Fillies hold off Rockets to lead east

The Killies jum ped out to an early
lead in the first quarter to m ake it a
tough competition
The Kocketa
cam e as close as two points to the
Killies, but Heppner decided they
needed this win and put the Kocketa
away
The Killies shooting percentage
did hurt them somewhat, but their
defense kept them in the game
"W e held our poise w ill in the
fourth quarter and hit some key
baskets when we had to have th e m ,"
said Coach Koyer

Lana Keid and Missy Kubanka led
all scorers with 18 points apeice
Kubanka also had 8 steals, while
Dana Reid and Penny Connor con
