No trees from
Outdoor Club
this year
Steve Brownfield, advisor of the
Heppner High School Outdoor Club
has announced that the club w ill not
have Christmas trees for sale this
year
Two reasons prompted the
decision
Severe winter weather
conditions have made it difficult to
get to the woods, and once there the
trees are in poor condition, due to
damage by the Spruce Budworm
Since several people count on the
trees the Outdoor Club cuts each
year, "w e wanted to let them know ,
so they can make other plans.' said
Brownfield
