Mustangs earn 2 victory of season

Heppners varsity football tram
produced their second victory of the
season with an 8 to 0 score over the
Wasco County Kedsides on Friday,
Oct 18
After a Kedside punt, the
Mustangs got on the scoreboard
when David Pedro ran seven yards
up the middle, early in the first
period Joe Taylor threw to Tony-
Clement for the extra points as the
Mustangs led eight to nothing The
touchdown was set up when Alex
Undsay scented 30 yarns down tot he
Kedside seven yard line
Neither team could score in the
final three quarters Wasco County
had three opportunities
in the
second quarter, hut were turned
away all three times
Heppner had 128 yards of total
offense, with all but eight of those
rushing
The Kedsides collected 79 yards of
total offense, gainging 61 on the
ground David Tolenlino ran back
two kickoffs for 45 yards
