to Fair when she was younger She

November serv ing as a princess on
this years F air and Rodeo Court
Since all three girls are involved
with activities which take place at
the fair grounds they have shown
much enthusiasm for their work,
says a fair committee spokesperson

summer job

Court for three year terms
The duties of a Fair Board include
the supervision of the usage and
maintenance of the Fair and Rodeo
Grounds This includes long range
planning to stretch budget dollars to
upgrade facilities, and keeping a
work use schedule for everyone's
benefit This past fiscal year saw
163 use days by organised youth
groups, and t4o use days by com­
munity groups
Planning for Fair and Rodeo is a
year long endeavor, and with RMS's
combined new format, the F air and
Rodeo run concurrently
Many
adjustments have tieon made This
year the Board has engaged more
food service people to accommodate
bigger crowds, and personal con­
tacts with businesses and major
industries has encouraged partiel

Fair and Rodeo participant* will

peting in the South Grandstand,
thorough clean up of all areas of the
grounds and the added attraction of
extensive landscaping by south end
Garden Clubs in addition to con
sidetablr repair and maintenance
Board members willingly donate
time from their personal lives
towards keeping the Fair and Rodeo
Grounds in quality condition for the
benefit of the public, with emphasis
on community pride

Rodeo time not only exemplifies the
best that the County has to of.er but
generate* a profit which everyone
looks forward to

the parking space inside the lair

to the handicapped, emergency

commercial and open class exhibits
have made parking space extremely
limited
Visitors will park outside the
grounds
When nearby space is
filled, they may juirk in town nr on
