An exhibit will consist of three bales produced current year in Morrow County
Growers must submit core samples from the exhibit, or representative samples from
the same lot of hay for testing Samples will be analyzed for moisture and crude protein
Samples must be submitted prior to fair so results are available at fair time
Testing will be at grower s expense
The OSU lorage testing service will be the official testing laboratory Growers can
contact the Extension Service office in Heppner for details on how to submit samples
Exhibit w ill be judged on the basis of 30 percent on analysis results and 50 percent on
general appearance of exhibit, as determined by USDA hay grading standards
The judge is permitted to open one bale
