The work shall begin when the rider signals for release of the cow The contestant shall
hold the animal at one end of the arena long enough to indicate to the judge that the horse is
watching the row The cow shall be allowed to run down the side of the arena and the
contestant shall turn the animal at least twice each way against the fence The cow shall be
taken to the center of the arena and circled once each way The horse will be penalized for
