Historical Society took us on a
driving trip of the other early homes
built in the city Many of these are
indeed lieautiful. and are opened for
tours at different times of the year
The owner* ol these homes were
many Scandinavians and the archi
lecture shows this

Saturday morning they visited the

much of the history in that area,

enjoyed lunch, after a hike to the
Kort Canby Lighthouse and other
interesting sights
They motored on to Portland for
Saturday night and on Sunday they
visited the Arlene Schmtzer Concert
Hall where they enjoyed a guided
lour

the grandest theatres in the west
Many of the original furnishings are
being donated or purchased by the

Surprise which stands in the lobby
