Mustangs drop double header
My TK 4 VIS HY ATT
It may have seemed that the
Meppner Mustangs forgot there bats
last Saturday against the Weston
McKwen Tiger Scots, as they could
only manage two hits combined in
both games and lost 104) and 12-0 in
double header action
A lot can tie attributed to the
Tiger-Scots pitchers Tom Meier and
Hick Scheibner
The first game didn't start well for
Meppner Weston scored four runs
in the first inning, and scored in
every inning but the second Mepp
ner committed five errors and the
Scotties bats were on fire, collecting
nine hits in six innings
laince
Jones. Schiebner. and Meier had two
hits apiece off Jim McConnell 4 2 1
lairan Mayes collected the only hit
for Meppner
The Mustangs hit the hall fletter in
the second game, but they were
hitting right to the Scotties fielders
Meier was three for three in the
second game and Schiebner hit a
three run home run in the first
inning
Meppner had something going in
the second inning loading the bases
with one out. but Schiebner got out of
the inning with two strikeouts
Travis Hyatt had the lone hit for
