Fair's point rating increases

Oregon County Fair Commission s
annual report which reach»-d them
recently It txxuvled the fair s point
rating up 29 points from 859 in I9H3 to
888 for this year
Espt-cially praised was the larger
participation by Boardman and Ir
rigon citizens the outside floral
arrangements, the new crafts area,
the overall carrying out of the fair
theme and the improved organiza

According to Jane Bawlins. fair
chairman, any rating from moo to 92(i
(mints is called a silver rating This
year's 888 is the highest score ever
achieved by a Morrow County Fair
To qualify for a gold rating and alittlc
Iletter percentage of state funds, the
fair must score 920 (Kurils which is
the goal set for next year's event
The rating of Morrow's fair was
