Scott Hudson playing the piano and Cheryl Stubblefield playing the guitar
The couple w ill make their home in Pendleton w here the bride is employed
at Western Heritage Savings and Iajan and the bridegroom is employed at
Fleetwood Enterprises

Oral and Marjorie Wright celebrated their Noth wedding anniversary with
some 45 friends and family members at their home in Lexington Saturday

Saturday s champagne reception and buffet luncheon were planned and
hostessed by the couple s daughter. Deanna Bellamy of Bothell Washington,
who also baked and decorated a cake for the occasion A daughter. Lynne
Haguewood of Portland was also at the reception however, a third
daughter Nancy Hussman of Memphis, Tennessee was unable to attend
I'he couple plans to leave Sunday August 19 for a trip to Memphis which is
sponsored by their daughters
The Wrights were married at Heppner on August II. 1934 Both were born
and raised in this area and have lived here all of their lives except from

read by the Res Ron Kratzer at the Baker Church of the Nararene
The bride, given in marriage by both of her parents, wore a long white
gown w ith a series of pleats in front, a simple train, and a cathedral lace hat
She carried a silk nosegay of white roses and apricot carnations
Mary Powell, a friend of the bride from Baker was the maid of honor
Bridesmaids were Karen Williams, a sister of the bride from Baker and
Bobbotte Hodman, a sister of the bridegroom from Ft la*wis, Washington
Steven Jones, a brother of the bridegroom from Portland was the best
man Ushers were Michael W illiams. a brother of the bride from Baker, and
Cpt Dale A Hodman, a brother in law of the bridegroom from Ft Lewis,
Washington
The church was decorated with two standing baskets of white silk roses
and apricot silk carnations at the altar
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the N'azarene Church
Friendship Hall with Cindy Lenhart pouring punch. Karen Oakes pouring
coffee and lamise Shelton and Sandra Payton serving cake Endy and
Amber Hedman attended the gift table Corrina Jacobs, the guest book
After a wedding trip to Sun River, the couple will reside in Heppner for the
twlance of the summer and then at Corvallis while they complete their final
year at Oregon State University
Out of town guests included Vera Erwin from Baker, great grandmother
of the bride. Pat and Elwood Rennison and their sons El wood Jr and Brett
from Meridian, Idaho Betty Erwin from Fairfield. California Mr and
Mrs Fellers of Eugene, grandparents of the bridegroom, Mrs Horn and
Jeff Jones from Arizona, cousins of the bridegroom , and Mr and Mrs Deos
and Mr and Mrs Gilkerson from Hood River

Follow ing a wedding trip to Disneyland the couple resides at their home in
