Oregon courts can now levy fines
of up to $2U against motorists who
allow children under five to ride in
autos without being secured in either
a safely bell or approved child
restraint
Child restraints or safely holts
have been mandatory for children
under five since January I of this
year Fines could not be imposed
during the first six months to on
