Hay entry shall be approximately 10 lbs., or 4 to 6 in. bale slice
Full bales will be accepted.
Hay harvested after the fair is eligible for entry next year.
Material used in any sheaf does NOT have to be grown by the exhibitor for entry
in the Morrow County Fair.

Special Sweepstakes Kihbon
An exhibit will consist of thrt bales produced current year in Morrow County.
Growers must submit core samples from the exhibit, or representu'ive samples
from the same lot of hay for testing. Samples will be analyzed for moisture and crude
protein. Samples must Ih submitted prior to fair so results are available at fair time.
Testing will be at growers expense
The OSU forage testing service will be the official testing laboratory. Growers
can contact the Extension Service office in Heppner for details on how to submit
samples.
Exhibit will be judged on the basis of SO percent on analysis results and 50 percent
on general appearance of exhibit, as determined by USDA hay grading standards.
The Judge is permitted to open one bale.
