open house

Cliff and Cindy Green will be holding their open house at
the Coast to Coast store in lleppner through Saturduy, The
Greens wen My purchased the store from Ralph and Chris
Limanen.
There will be lots of gifts given away during the opening,
says Cliff, including grand prizes of a double fired gas grill, a
shop vac, a torch kit and gifts to the first loo men and (he first
100 women to come in the store.
"We have an expanded inventory, and hope everyone
comes by to visit," says Cliff. Refreshments will be served.

promoted to the position of
legislative assistant. She Ik'
gan working as a receptionist
for Washington state Senator
Dan Kvansat his Washington
D C. office in January of 1984
and w ill now he serving in her
new capacity in the areas of
armed serv
ices, and foreign relations.
She graduated from lone
high school in 1979 and from
the University of Portland in
May of 1983. She had spent
some time studying in Europe
and learning languages prior
to her graduation. Her new
position was "created to in
clude her specialties and in
terests," said her mother,
Maryan McKlligott.

fourth through seventh grade.

With school ending for the
summer, kids start thinking
about the fun and excitement
of camping. Those interested
should act immediately, as
again this year the camping
program will be offered to
youth in Morrow, Gilliam and
Wheeler counties, with appli
cations accepted on a first
come basis.
The 4 H Camp at Cutsforth
Park is the traditional time of
nature classes, hikes, games,
crafts, ceremonies, and lots of
singing around the campfire.
Counselors w ill be high school
age 4 II members from the
three-county area. Extension
staff, too. will be from the
three counties.
Many plans and meetings
have already gone into plan
ning for a very special camp
this year. Counselor selected
theme for the event is "Dusty
Trails West".
