Aircraft downed, pilot unhurt Wayne Seitz of Seitz-Currin Aviation was unhurt after his aircraft was forced down at about 8 a.m. last Sunday morning, April 22. Tarnasky resigns from Home Health Agency Sheridan Tarnasky Sheridan Tarnasky, administrator-supervising R.N. for the Tri-County Home Health Agency formally resigned to the agency board Tuesday, April 10. Her resignation will be effective June 1. Voters urged to check precinct cards Morrow County voters will be receiving precinct cards from the County Clerk's Office in the near future, according to Co. Clerk Barbara Bloods worth. Beginning this week, all voters will be sent cards which contain the following information: Name, Precinct, Party, Date that the person first registered, Districts in which the voter resides, date of birth, and polling place. Mrs. Bloodsworth stated that it is important that voters notify the Clerk's office if the cards are incomplete, or if information is in error. Some cards are incomplete because the voters registered prior to the time that some of the information was necessary for registration. Tarnasky has been with the Home Health Agency for se ven years and was instrumen tal in its formation in Morrow County. She says that nursing are provided in a home setting was a "dream that has be t juie a reality." She empha sizes that she will probably always be involved, "in some way, with nursing." Her decision to resign, she said was a difficult one, but she felt that it was "time for some new blood, for more people to be involved with the agency, and that she would like to have some time to spend with her kids." She says that the agency is currently taking applications for the administrator position and will continue to provide home health care in the home. In addition to incomplete cards, there will be the in evitable mistakes. The cards that are being mailed out are printouts fromthe County's new System-36 computer. All voter information needed to be transferred to the computer, and the registration cards are the end product. Voters should examine the cards carefully when they receive them, and should notify (be Clerk's office of errors. It shoud be carefully noted that April 25 was the last day to change party affiliation for the upcoming May pri mary. To change any incorrect information, or to add missing data, on the present cards voters should call 676-9915 during business hours, and talk to Barbara, Claudine or Donna. Changes can also be made by mail, by sending them to P.O. Box 338, Heppner. Prior to duty at Morrow County which began April 2, Hankins served five months as a corrections officer with the Union County Sheriff's office. He was a reserve patrolman at the Grants Pass city police department for three years. lie also "served vith Jackson and Coos county sheriff's dep artments. Hankins received a Bach elor of Science degree in crim inology at Southern Oregon State College in June of 1983. Hankins is a graduate of Grants Pass high school. He served with the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1972, serving in Viet Nam from December 1969 to August 1970. He received an associate degree from Rogue Commu nity College at Grants Pass in June 1974.
