B Y ASHLEY CONK LIN Ione's boys' basketball team finished at 2-8 in the Big Sky Conference and 5-13 overall w ith a 42-38 w in over the Dufur Rangers on Saturday, Feb. 11. The first quarter saw the Cardinals take a 10 to 8 lead. Roger Lyda had six Ranger points. Dufur came back to tie the game at 20 at intermission by taking the second stanza 12-10. Mark Meyers and Randy Mc Cabe had all of Ione's points. The Cougars took a halftime lead of 10 to nothing by scoring four second period points to Ione's zero. Echo was shutout in the third stanza as lone scored two and now trailed 10-2.
